Arti is passionate about finding applications to quantitative methods.
More than the applications of AI, the opacity of AI piqued her interest the most, so she shares the excitement of learning the inner workings and demystifying AI with the visual learners of the world. She loves learning new methods and wants to make AI more accessible through developing interpretable solutions to challenging problems for Prolego’s clients.
Arti’s background lies in mathematics and statistics, which led her to a trading role on Wall Street. For three years, she ruminated on ways to efficiently apply mathematical methods to risk management and derivative pricing models within event driven strategy. Through her research, she delved into machine learning methods, teaching herself to code, and ultimately taking the journey into the vast world of data science.
Arti graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BS in Mathematics and from the University of Virginia (UVA) with a MS in Data Science. Upon graduating, she took a role with a health research institution at UVA where she contributed to COVID-19 related research on a national team of clinicians and data scientists.
